Youth Capacity and Action for Change (YCAC)


Mr. Berat Abdiu - our research and evaluation expert - presenting the evaluation Results for the "Youth Capacity and Action for Change" (YCAC) project implemented by World Vision.

YCAC is funded by the European Union and Austrian Development Cooperation while the implementation is organized in cooperation with partners Center for Peace and Tolerance (CPT), Students Helping Life Kosovo (SHLK) and Central Youth Action Council (CYAC). The project aims to improve the capacities of youth organizations by equipping them with a set of knowledge and skills they need for an active participation in decision and policy making affecting young peoples’ lives

Mr. Christof Stock, Head of Operations at the European Commission in Kosovo, who took part in the presentation ceremony, was widely satisfied with the project idea, implementation and overall inclusion of youth in policy-making.

At the same time, Mr. Phillip Harris, Operational Director of World Vision in Albania and Kosovo; Mr. Xhevat Bajrami, Representative of the Ministry for Culture, Youth and Sports; Ms. Albana Gerxhi, YCAC Project Manager; and partner organization representatives Mr. Shkumbin Arifi, Program Manager of Students Helping Life - Kosovo; Mr. Nenad Maksimovic, Executive Director of Center for Peace and Tolerance, altogether positively reflected upon the achievements, challenges and long-term sustainability of the project.
